Schoolboy, 13, taken to hospital and ten others injured after fair ride dubbed The X Scream collapses

A teenager was taken to hospital and ten other people were injured after a fairground ride collapsed.

Emergency services were called to a funfair in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, after reports that a fairground ride had collapsed.

About 25 people were on the ride, dubbed The X Scream, at around 9.25pm on Friday. The ride tilts passengers to a 90 degrees angle as they spin round in a cage.
